Hatchet: Compsognathus

Status: Available

Hatchet is a three-year-old compsognathus. He lives in a lush dinosaur sanctuary, far from the horrors of his past. Before his rescue, life for Hatchet was a nightmare. He spent years in a cramped cage at the Professional Laboratory and Research Services. Here, he was force-fed strange compounds. He felt fear daily. Workers screamed and cursed at him. They used high-pressure hoses to spray him. When he was too scared to move, they dragged him.

The rescue operation was a turning point. A group called CRS stepped in. They saved Hatchet and over eighty other dinosaurs. Sadly, some did not make it. But Hatchet was one of the lucky ones. He arrived at the sanctuary, a place full of love and kindness.

Now, Hatchet is a favorite among the staff. His sweet nature shines through. He plays with everyone and enjoys his new life. His past shaped him, making him tolerant and submissive. He knows what it’s like to suffer. But now, he chooses joy every day. Hatchet represents hope and resilience in a world that once showed him cruelty.
