Caspian was a mix of Velociraptor and Deinonychus, a creature born to run and explore. He lived in a lush sanctuary, but his early life was far from serene. His first owners saw him as a mere possession, keeping him penned outside, neglected and alone.

When we received a call about an "aggressive" raptor, we rushed to help. What we found was heartbreaking. Caspian was emaciated and scared. His ribs showed through his skin. He was anemic and infested with parasites. This wasn’t aggression. It was desperation.

Caspian’s recovery took four long years. Daily care, proper food, and love transformed him. He learned to trust again. His curiosity flourished. He watched the world around him with wide eyes. Each day was a new adventure. He became known for his empathy, sensing the feelings of those around him.

Today, Caspian is a vibrant part of the sanctuary. He explores, plays, and interacts with both dinosaurs and humans. His past shaped him deeply. He understands neglect and pain but chooses to show kindness. His journey reminds us all of the power of compassion and the importance of a second chance.
